The Cedar Rapids City Council has set a public hearing date to consider the total maximum property tax dollars for the fiscal year 2024 budget. The hearing will be held during the regular Feb. 28 City Council meeting. The meeting begins at 4 p.m. and will be in the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, the former federal courthouse at 101 First Street SE.
Parking is available on nearby streets, including metered spots on 1st Street and the 1st and 2nd Avenue bridges, or in public downtown parking ramps.
