Provides support to the Airport Guest Services Supervisor in leading the Airport Guest Services team to provide a high quality customer experience. Essential functions include serving as dispatcher, main point of contact, and daily observations of guests; refer inquiries to proper stakeholders; assist with scheduling, training, payroll, reports and other documents using MS Office; ability to make independent judgment decisions to minimize customer impacts; and possess leadership skills.
The Guest Services Team oversees and helps create a lasting, positive impact by assisting the Airport’s guests with any and every type of situation while working in a fast-paced environment; including, but not limited to greeting of guests, valet service, luggage assistance, mobility assistance, directions, responding to airline requests to assist guests, arranging transportation for guests, answering incoming phone calls and questions, ensuring cleanliness of the drive, light cleaning in terminal and a variety of administrative tasks.
Requires:
- Valid Iowa Driver’s License, Graduation from High School or GED
- Some experience in the performance of administrative and customer service duties; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Schedule:
- Work schedule varies; typical schedule is nights, weekends and includes holidays and inclement weather.
