The Aviation and Transportation Security Act established the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) on November 19, 2001. TSA is an independent operator of the Eastern Iowa Airport security checkpoint and oversees the airport’s security line management.
The Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) has partnered with TSA PreCheck enrollment provider, Telos, to offer a PreCheck Enrollment Center at the airport. The center is open with limited hours and the enrollment process is done by appointment only. Go to TSA Precheck Enrollment to fill out the application online and check for Cedar Rapids enrollment centers under Telos. Additional information, including the location where to fingerprinted, is provided through the application process.
