CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. March 4, 2014 — Allegiant today announces new nonstop, seasonal jet service between Cedar Rapids and Los Angeles via Los Angeles International Airport beginning June 6, 2014. In celebration of the new summer service, the company, known for its affordable and convenient travel deals, will offer promotional one-way fares as low as $92*.

The new flights will operate twice weekly between June 6 and Sept. 8, 2014, flying nonstop from The Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and becoming the only nonstop service from Cedar Rapids to any destination in California. Allegiant first began service at The Eastern Iowa Airport in June 2004 with service to Las Vegas and today serves more nonstop destinations from Cedar Rapids than any other carrier. Los Angeles becomes Allegiant’s sixth nonstop destination from Cedar Rapids.
