Train with Coe or Kirkwood at CID

Welcome to the Aviation Workforce Development Campus (AWDC) at the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID). Spanning two hangars, this premier regional hub for aviation education was established in partnership with Coe College and Kirkwood Community College to address critical employment gaps in the aviation industry. Students are immersed in a real-world, active commercial airport environment, receiving the hands-on training necessary to launch successful careers as pilots or maintenance technicians.
